The Washington Redskins have many holes to fill and, sitting at 13 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, are in an advantageous situation to improve their roster. They have the flexibility to do that through staying put and taking the best player available or trading back and recouping a third-round pick to make up for the one they surrendered in the January trade that landed quarterback Alex Smith. Trading up in the draft appears very unlikely and unnecessary at this stage. (more…)

Redskins Pros and Cons: Week 2

The Washington Redskins experienced the ultimate highs and lows Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

From injuries to quarterback Robert Griffin III and wide receiver DeSean Jackson to displaying total domination on offense, defense and special teams for the first time in recent memory, Sunday had it all.

Washington racked up 449 yards on offense and the defense held the Jaguars to just 148 yards in a 41-10 victory, evening their record to 1-1 on the season and snapping their streak of nine straight losses dating back to 2013.

Redskins make first round of cuts

The Washington Redskins began the process of making their first round of cuts on Sunday, two days ahead of the Tuesday deadline in which all 32 NFL teams need to trim their rosters to 75 players.
