Watch U.S. soccer fans react to the game-winning goal over Ghana

Monday evening provided one of the top theatrical moments in sports this year. Just 29 seconds into the United States’ first World Cup match of the year, Clint Dempsey fired the opening salvo, putting the U.S. up 1-0 over Ghana. However, in the 82nd minute, Andre Ayew tied the game 1-1, leaving American soccer fans a nervous wreck. Four minutes later, former Maryland Terrapin Graham Zusi delivered a corner kick that was headed in by John Brooks and sent America into a frenzy.

D.C. United Unveils Updated Renderings of New Stadium

Last July, plans were announced to build a new soccer stadium for D.C. United. The stadium is set to open in 2016 at Buzzards Point just blocks away from Nationals Park. Along with the announcement came artist renderings of what the potential stadium and surrounding area would look like when it was completed. The stadium is expected to seat anywhere from 20,000-25,000 fans.

Today, the team unveiled updated images of what they envision the state-of-the-art soccer stadium would look like. And boy does it look marvelous. Take a look.
