Former Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor will be one of 10 former Hurricanes inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in 2015, the university announced Monday.

Taylor won a national championship as a freshman with the Hurricanes. As a junior at Miami in 2003, Taylor picked off 10 passes and returned three for touchdowns on his way to earned BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year.

The other inductees include Rob Chudzinski (football), Alex Fernandez (baseball), Kym Hope (basketball), Chris Mantilla (diving), Rusty Medearis (football), Winston Moss (football), Kevin Patrick (football), Jonathan Vilma (football) and Lauryn Williams (track & field).

Taylor was selected fifth overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Redskins and went on to play in the 2007 Pro Bowl and was posthumously nominated as a 2008 Pro Bowler following his death on November 27, 2007.
