The Washington Nationals began the 2014 season with their second consecutive 3-0 record after sweeping the New York Mets at Citi Field this week. They took on the Atlanta Braves in their home opener at Nationals Park on Friday afternoon.
Atlanta beat Washington 2-1 but the mood for the 42,834 fans in attendance at Nationals Park was light.
