With the Washington Redskins appearing to be the clear frontrunners in the race to sign playmaking wide receiver DeSean Jackson, there seems to be a divide among reporters out of Philadelphia and those from Washington, D.C. and the national media as to whether or not he has agreed to terms with the team.

Last night, reports out of Philadelphia indicated that Jackson indeed has come to terms with the burgundy and gold.

Said a source close to Jackson on Redskins: “Done deal.”

The only local outlet to echo these statements so far is ESPN980.

One source on DeSean Jackson tells @ESPNRadio980 it is “pretty much done.” Hearing from some1 w/knowledge “deal will get completed tomorrow”

Last night, however, local and national reporters all took to Twitter to deny that any agreement between Jackson and the Redskins were in place.

Heard from multiple sources that no deal with DeSean Jackson and #Redskins has been completed as of yet.

Jackson’s agent was expected to leave tomorrow but will stay…most likely until Wednesday. Redskins and DJax want this to work per sources.

As of this morning, 6ABC in Philadelphia stands by their report that Jackson has agreed to terms with the Redskins.

One thing that can’t be denied, however, is that it appears Jackson enjoyed his night out on the town with what may be his future teammates and rapper Wale.
